    Overall, nice appearance for a DIY Fauxlex Sub

    I was most interested in the case itself and to consider rafflesdials for further orders of "sterile" kits. A lot of detail in the case, and it fit the movement just great. Hands, bezel, and dial are bright and shiny. However, no clamps or screws came with the kit to secure the movement ring to the case. I added my own. The hands had some tiny bits of adhesive material on them which I did not discover until I had them on the movement and dial. Cleanup was a bit of a hassle. The finish of the dial surface is smooth and shiny but very thin. The dial markings were not finished well at the edge of the dial but seem to be hidden under the chapter ring. The blue lume does not glow very strongly, but it will do. The bezel is a little loose but the clicks are clean. Assembly went well, so fit and tolerances are nice, except for the clamp problem I mentioned before. Also, the cyclops is a bit counterclockwise to 3, but still ok. Have not looked at the bracelet. I may order the see-thru caseback and consider another dial source, but I am pleased for the money I spent. Definitely a good fit for the 2824 if you bring your own clamps.
